LPGA Scholarships

Description: Scholarships are open to female graduating high school seniors who played golf in high school. There are scholarships for students who are planning on playing collegiate golf and for students not planning on playing collegiate golf. In addition to general scholarships, there are scholarships open to minority female students.


Team Type1 Foundation Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and current college students who have Type 1 diabetes and is/will be a competitive athlete at an accredited NCAA or NAIA institution.


Women’s Western Golf Foundation Scholarship

Sponsor: Women’s Western Golf Foundation (WWGF)

Amount: $10,000 over four years

Description: Scholarship is open to female high school seniors who are active participants in the sport of golf and have at least a 3.5 GPA.


Par Aide’s Joseph S. Garske Collegiate Grant Program

Sponsor: Golf Course Superintendents Association of America

Amount: Up to $2,500

Description: Applicant must be a graduating high school senior who is accepted at an institution of higher learning for the upcoming year. One or more of the applicant’s parents or step-parents must have been a GCSAA member for five or more consecutive years and must be a current GCSAA member.


CMP Scholarship Program

Sponsor: Civilian Marksmanship Program

Amount: $1,000

Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors who demonstrate rifle or pistol marksmanship competition experience.


API Study Abroad and Intern Abroad Scholarships

Description: Scholarships are open to API program participants. There are multiple scholarships with specific requirements – see website for details. In addition to general scholarships, there are scholarships specifically open to community college students, military veterans, non-traditional students, students with disabilities, minority students, LGBTQ students, STEM majors, and student athletes.

GCSAA Legacy Awards

Sponsor: Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) Foundation

Amount: $1,500

Description: Scholarship is open to incoming and enrolled students in a recognized undergraduate program in a major field related to turf management. At least one or more of the applicant’s parents or grandparents must be an active Class A, B, C, Equipment Management, A-Retired, B-Retired or AA member of GCSAA and/or IGCEMA for five or more consecutive years.


Scott & Kim Verplank Foundation Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to high school seniors who have a childhood diagnosis of Type 1 Diabetes. Applicant must have a commitment to participating in athletics by actively participating on an organized team.


Bryon Krieger Memorial Athletic Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and current college students who are Jewish and participate in a sport. Preference will be given to fencers and Jewishly-committed student. Applicant must have at least a 3.0 GPA and be planning to attend a U.S. college in the Fall of 2020 or after a gap year.

Description: Scholarship is open to female high school seniors who have some involvement with the sport of golf.


AAU Karate Scholarships

Sponsor: Amateur Athletic Union of the United States

Description: Scholarship is open to students who have participate in AAU Karate for a minimum of four years. Student must be a graduating high school senior who will be attending an accredited college or university in the fall or a current undergraduate student.


Swim with Mike Physically Challenged Athletes Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to athletes who participated in organized competitive youth, high school or collegiate athletics and subsequently have sustained a life changing accident or illness (e.g. paralysis, blindness, cancer, amputation, head injuries).

Description: Scholarship is open to high school juniors (Class of 2021) who reside anywhere in the United States and play for a high school team or club sport.


Heisman Scholarship
