Description: Scholarship is open to minority students who will be entering their freshman year of college in the fall of 2020 and are planning to pursue careers in the atmospheric or related oceanic and hydrologic sciences.


DAR American Indian Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to Native American students of any age, any tribe and in any state striving to get an education at the undergraduate or graduate levels.


Frances Crawford Marvin American Indian Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to full-time students at a two or four-year college or university who is Native American and has proof of American Indian blood. Applicant must demonstrate financial need, academic achievement, and have a 3.25 GPA or higher.


LAGRANT Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships

Sponsor: LAGRANT Foundation

Description: Scholarship is open to U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and AB-540/DACA recipients who are a member of one of the following ethnic groups: African American/Black, Asian American/Pacific Islander, Hispanic/Latino, or Native American/Alaska Native. Applicant must be a full-time student at a four-year accredited institution in the U.S. with at least a 3.0 GPA and majoring in a field of study that has an emphasis on advertising, marketing or public relations. Applications submitted on or before January 17 will be eligible for an extra 10 points.


LPGA Scholarships

Description: Scholarships are open to female graduating high school seniors who played golf in high school. There are scholarships for students who are planning on playing collegiate golf and for students not planning on playing collegiate golf. In addition to general scholarships, there are scholarships open to minority female students.


ACS Scholars Program

Description: Scholarship is open to African-American, Hispanic/Latino, and American Indian students who are graduating high school seniors or college freshmen, sophomores or juniors intending to or already majoring in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering or a chemically related science.


Maureen L. and Howard Blitman, P.E. Scholarship

Description: Applicant must be a high school senior who is a member of an underrepresented ethnic minority (African-American, Hispanic, or Native American) who has been accepted into an ABET-accredited engineering program at a four-year college or university.


Minority Teachers of Illinois (MTI) Scholarship Program

Description: Scholarship is open to residents of Illinois who are minority students of either African-American/Black, Hispanic American, Asian American or Native Origin. Applicant must be a current undergraduate or graduate student at an Illinois institution of higher education in a course of study which, upon completion, qualifies them to be certified as a preschool, elementary, or secondary school teacher.

Description: Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and current undergraduate and graduate students who are Native American and pursuing a higher education in Natural Resources.


Catching the Dream Scholarship

Description: Applicant must be 1/4 or more degree American Indian and be an enrolled member of a U.S. tribe. Applicant must be attending or planning on attending a college or university within the U.S. on a full-time basis that is fully accredited.


Leonard M. Perryman Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to racial ethnic minorities students who are United Methodist undergraduate students intending to pursue a career in religion journalism or mass communications.


Advancing Agricultural Science Opportunities for Native Americans (AASONA) Scholarship

Description: Scholarship is open to currently enrolled students working towards a degree in a field of Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics from a group underrepresented in their field of study. Underrepresented groups may be defined by gender, race, ethnic background, disability, sexual orientation, age, socio-economic status, nationality, and other non-visible differences.
